How Beetle uses Google data

Beetle shows each hotel and restaurant client its marketing performance in one place. When a Google account is connected, Beetle reads that account’s Google Analytics, Search Console and Google Ads reporting data and shows it only in that client’s reports.

Google Analytics
analytics.readonly

Read-only. Beetle lists the Analytics properties the connected account can see, so a property can be matched to a client, and reads traffic, engagement, conversion and revenue reports for that client.

Google Search Console
webmasters.readonly

Read-only. Beetle lists the Search Console sites the connected account can see and reads clicks, impressions, click-through rate and position by query, page, country and device.

Google Ads
adwords

Used only to read reporting data: account, campaign, ad group, ad, keyword and search-term performance. Beetle never creates, edits, pauses or removes anything in a Google Ads account and never changes budgets or bids.

Google data is shown only to people with access to that client’s workspace. It is never sold and never used for advertising. Beetle’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Access can be removed at any time from Beetle’s settings or at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
